ASH's BANZHAF AND MORTON DOWNEY DEBATE TOBACCO DEFENDERS [09/17]

Once Morton Downey Jr. smoked five packs of cigarettes a day.

As a talk show host he managed to intimidate most of his guests.

But not John Banzhaf of ASH, on a historic program in 1988 when Banzhaf stood up to -- if not bested -- Downey on his own show.

Now, after Downey was found to have lung cancer, he has switched sides, and is strongly against the tobacco industry.

See brief excerpts from the original battle of BANZHAF v. DOWNEY.

Better yet, see the whole show where Banzhaf and Downer together take on those who defend the tobacco industry.

Watch it on ROLANDA on Wednesday, Sept 18th. Check your local listings for time and channel.
